I feel very honoured to have been lent some photograph albums by a client so that I can scan some of the photographs to include in a life story.
I do wish that the framed picture in this photograph was a little clearer but I believe that is it of the eldest son of the family who enlisted in August 1914 with the Sherwood Foresters (Notts and Derby).
The father of this family (centre right) was almost fifty when he enlisted in the Bedfordshire Regiment, he was killed in December 1915.
The other chap in uniform is the second son who was in the Hunts Cyclist Batt then posted to the Bedfordshire Regiment.
The photograph must have been taken in 1915.
